Aaron and Jana have a love for Alki Beach and Lincoln Park. Their sweet little pup Zoey does too! So, that’s where we headed for their engagement session! Aaron proposed recently while they were on vacation in Hawaii. Best vacation ever! Jana’s ring is absolutely stunning and the two of them together make the cutest couple!

We met at Lincoln park and walked around the woodsy park with their sweet little dog Zoey. After that we headed down to the beach! The sun was starting to set but still shining bright, the Ferry was docked and ready for its cars and passengers. And then I discovered this seriously AWESOME teepee/fort that a sweet group of West Seattle soccer girls were making. They were SO excited that I asked if we could borrow their seriously perfect creation for a few photos. They kept saying “awe, so cute together, so happy!” Thanks girls for being so sweet!

Our next stop was Alki and seriously, on a beautiful day, you can’t beat it! The views are spectacular! My favorite part about the session was that Jana and I schemed and planned on Aaron making them a fire for a little campfire/cuddling/smores making photos. Uhh hello, so sweet! We brought everything we needed for our “vision” and just as we got down to the sandy beaches a sweet family was leaving and offered us their already-made-warm and ready-to-photograph fire. Thank you! It was perfect (even if the marshmallows how melted together a bit in the car).
