We’ve wanted to shoot a wedding at Roche Harbor for what felt like forever, so finally getting out onto the islands and out to Friday Harbor was a major bucket list day for us! Steven and I ventured to the islands on the most beautiful, sun-filled morning ferry ride. The staff said that it was one of the most beautiful weather weekends (and on Memorial Day weekend, nonetheless) that they’d ever seen!

A San Juan Island Destination Wedding at Friday Harbor

When Ashley walked up to Dave at the marina at Friday Harbor, Dave was overwhelmed with emotion and joy. In 8 seasons of weddings, it was hands down one of my most favorite first looks. It’s the time that you get to just embrace each other, spend time together, and slow down the pace of the wedding before all the guests arrive and the busy-ness of the day gets under way.

We ventured all over the island for photos and it felt like a dream! Major kudos to the awesome staff at Roche Harbor for offering to drive us all over the place to stay cool in the heat, but also get all the spots in we were hoping for! Them shuffling us around was such a blessing! It was the most incredible day, one I know Steven and I will never forget.

Ashley and Dave, thank you for choosing us to be a part of your wedding day! You two are the sweetest together and Roche Harbor definitely did not disappoint!
