When Suraj emailed me this Summer, he was so excited! He was planning to make the ultimate surprise for his girlfriend-a PROPOSAL! We planned all the details and as the last few months went by, proposal day finally arrived! All Amy knew was that she was suppose to dress for “sweater weather.” Luckily she took the initiative, and was picture ready too! Suraj wanted the proposal to be a private moment, with a surprise engagement session following! They hopped on a plane from California, arrived at Seatac and made their way to Fall City to Treehouse Point. Steven and I arrived early, and anxiously pretended to be THP guests with coffee in hand (and camera gear hidden in the car). As soon as Suraj sent me the “I proposed!” text, we headed over to their Treehouse for a big congratulations and a surprise engagement session!Amy and Suraj were SO happy and Amy was completely beaming the entire time! Suraj had her ring box custom made by the owner of the production rights of the Nightmare before Christmas musical (Amy’s favorite). We ventured around Treehouse Point, went to all our favorite hidden gems for photos and then let Amy and Suraj get to making phone calls to their family and friends and celebrate that they were getting married! Suraj, I’m so honored that you found me and that I was able to come out to document such an amazing day for you and Amy! It was so fun!
