Sam and Paige | Roche Harbor Wedding

When I started thinking about a wedding that really hit me in the feels last year, Paige and Sam’s wedding at Roche Harbor was one of the first to come to mind. It was the kind of wedding day where you can truly feel the love between the couple, their family and friends, and the serious joy and laughter that surrounded the day. Steven and I got to the ferry terminal to head home that night and I remember Steven saying “that was just such a FUN day!” It really was! And I’m so excited to share it on the blog today!

A Roche Harbor Resort Wedding

Together with an amazing vendor team and the incredible staff at Roche Harbor resort, the day was one for the books! One of my favorite memories of the day was when Paige got to sign a vintage dress slip. Most of the women in their family have signed this slip over the years, dating back to August 24th of 1850. Yes, 1850! Watching Paige sign her name onto such an incredibly special heirloom was a moment I’ll never forget. We did their first look photos and some of their portraits at the mausoleum. We hadn’t been up there before and my goodness, the lighting was incredible! It seems like every time we head to Roche Harbor we get the opportunity to see and experience something new! Everything about their day was so beautifully put together, but what really got me was all the laughter. They were genuinely having so much fun. Even their dog walked down the aisle (go pro and all!). Paige and Sam, we adore you guys! We always love any opportunity to return to the beautiful San Juan Island. Roche Harbor never disappoints!
