Lauren and Matt | Argosy Wedding

An Argosy wedding! There’s something so special about shooting a wedding on your anniversary. Having a Summer anniversary means that the time will come when you may have a wedding on that day! We had a lot of inquiries for August 12th, but Lauren and Matt, their story and the uniqueness of their venue (hello Argosy!) and the amazing team of vendors they were working with made it an easy decision! Lauren and Matt are such incredibly kind people. There’s something to be said about arriving to a wedding and feeling truly valued and trusted. I know that Lauren trusted me to photograph all her special details, and Matt was so easy going for Steven! As photographers, it really makes it easy to feel inspired and creative!

An Argosy Lady Mary Wedding

I really loved everything about this wedding! Lauren and Matt had a nautically inspired wedding on the Argosy, Lady Mary! We started the day at the Woodmark in Kirkland and ventured around the marina and surrounding areas for photos before getting on the boat for an amazing evening on the water! The Argosy is really unique in that it took us all around Lake Washington and into Lake Union! Lake Union is so beautiful at night, with the Space Needle all lit up and then..FIREWORKS! Eventful Moments did an amazing job and honestly, it didn’t really feel like work because we just had such a great time! I’ll never forget Lauren and Matt toasting to us during their speeches, and making us feel more like friends than just their photographers. We love sharing an anniversary date with Matt and Lauren and are so excited to finally get this beautiful Argosy Lady Mary wedding on the blog! argosy seattle cruise wedding
