Engagements are one of my favorite times with our couples. It’s the time where usually we are meeting for the first time! It’s the time where I get to hear more about their proposal story, the backstory of the engagement ring, and coach them through the posing of the session! I have no expectations for our couples at the engagement session, because honestly most people have never been in front of the camera before! However, a little bit of direction and shooting in the moment and BOOM! Total photo naturals! It’s such a fun time for our couples-they’re celebrating their engagement! What an honor it is to be a part of this special time.
I met up with Kim and Brian at Chambers Bay in Tacoma for their engagement photos earlier this week. It was a perfectly overcast evening and a place they take walks together, after the bustle of school day (Kim is a teacher) and baseball games (Brian is a highschool baseball coach). Chambers Bay is always beautiful, so it was nice to get out there for a little change of pace for me! I adore these two, and can’t wait for their wedding day!
