Kelly + Tara // Kerry Park & Washington Arboretum // Seattle Engagement Photographer

Tara and Kelly are such a fun couple! Typical of Seattle weather, we had to swap engagement session dates several times to get good weather! Well, we were finally able to schedule their engagements last week and the weather was amazing! Warm, beautiful sunlight and Spring has sprung and its gorgeous! I was really thankful for their patience, and was thrilled that the weather didn’t disappoint! We met in Queen Anne, and went over to the Arboretum and gasp, the trees are looking insanely gorgeous! Definitely go check them out! I felt like we had the entire park to ourselves! It was quiet, the sun was setting through the trees and the birds were chirping! Tara and Kelly were troopers in front of the camera! In the evenings Kelly and Tara grab their cute dog and head for a walk down to Parson’s Garden look out points and Kerry Park! So, what better place to do part of their session, then there! The sun was setting and it was seriously gorgeous.

Tara always wanted a vintage wedding ring. They looked together and found exactly what Tara was looking for. She hoped Kelly would remember the ring, and well, he did! It’s from the 1800s and is so gorgeous! Check out her ring shots below 🙂

Tara shared with me how Kelly popped the question too! It was a beautiful sunny day. They hiked up to the top of Mount Si in North Bend and Kelly got down on one knee! At the top of the hike they enjoyed a picnic lunch on a cliff area and then bam! Kelly asked Tara to marry him! I can hardly wait for their rustic, fun and DIY inspired wedding on their parents property this summer. Here are my favs from their session!
