Hi friends! Welcome to our blog, a place where we share our favorites from weddings days, tips and a glimpse into our everyday life. So glad you're here!
Nektarios completely surprised Katya when he popped the question after a cartoon artist at Pike Place Market drew a photo of them, and in the photo, Nektarios was down on one knee, proposing! Katya was sure he was going to propose earlier on during the date, at The Great Wheel, but Nektarios had an even grander plan! When I met them for coffee they were beaming with excitement about their wedding day- I knew from that moment they were a perfect fit as an ALP wedding client!Katya told me that she loved the art in photographs-how moments happen, and the way they are then captured in photographs. Yah, she’s amazing! I love this because they are just so natural in front of the camera, laughing and showing affection to each other. The best photographs come when you aren’t necessarily posing a client, but capturing the in-between moments when they’re just being them. In love, excited about their wedding, hopefully laughing at my dumb jokes (but hey, it works!) and just being themselves as individuals and as a couple. We ventured to my favorite Seattle Ferris wheel photo spot, then traveled over to Kerry Park for some really unique city scape shots! I’m pretty sure all the tourists at the look out spot thought I was ridiculous, laying down in the partially wet grass below them for these shots-but it was worth it! (you’ll see!) Katya and Nektarios, I adore you two as a couple and can’t wait for wedding day in August!

love how you lay the photos from the session! lovely work, amanda!
These are beyond amazing. You did such a great job capturing the love between these too. It definitely comes through in the photos how in love they are!
