Sometimes when our plans align just right, Steven I end up with a complete day off together! So, instead of filling the day with tasks, chores and projects at home, we decided to test out my new canoe (the awesome canoe that I got for my clients!) and head to our secret lake spot for a day of fishing, canoeing and family time! AND The tripod+ remote came out too. To my photographer friends, this is the way we tend to get on-the-fly family photos, can I get an Amen?!

There are times in this business that I have to admit, I can easily let it consume me. My business means so much to me. I put my heart and soul into it, and I absolutely adore my clients and the relationships I’m building with them. However, to be able to be the best I can be for them, I also need to make sure I take the time to spend precious time with my family, and be the best for them too. Balancing it isn’t easy, but it’s SO worth it! (more on that later)
