When Andrea emailed me and told me she was pregnant I was so so excited for her and Colin! I photographed their wedding at Cannon Beach last year and knew they wanted kiddos in the near future! Andrea had the idea of putting together a Gender Reveal session and asked me to photograph the event!When I got to Dumas Bay at the Knutzen theatre and saw their closest family and friends (plus Andrea’s best friend on FaceTime) I felt so honored to be part of such a special time in their lives! Andrea’s brother hung a box in the trees that they would pull and balloons and streamers would fall down, revealing Baby Liddell’s gender! It was a surprise to everyone-getting to see the expressions on all of their faces was a pretty special moment! Baby Liddell is a …BOY!

Ok, I’ll admit, I knew the baby’s gender! Andrea had the sweet lady that put together the Gender Reveal box email me! I wanted to know so that I could give them a gift, and of course incorporate that into their photos! Funny story, the bag I bought had blue glitter all over it -which ended up all over my clothes on the drive to Dumas Bay. I was freakishly trying to get it off of it before meeting up with them-thankfully I got it off!
