We met with Christine and Matt for their engagement session at Lincoln Park and never stopped laughing the entire time we were with them. Christine has this hilarious way of cracking everyone up and bringing everyone together, and paired with Matt, they were the most adorable, hilarious and fun-loving couple. These two have a serious love for pizza (and green juice and popcorn) so I absolutely loved that they decided to incorporate this pizza love into their engagement photos! Matt snagged boxes from Pagliaccis that made for the perfect addition to the little mini-picnic Christine put together for the shoot! Rewinding just a little bit, Christine’s parents own our favorite Teriyaki restaurant, New Tokyo, in Des Moines, so when Christine suggested meeting there for their consult it ended up being a match made in heaven!

Christine and Matt, you two are wonderful and Steven and I are truly thrilled to be your wedding photographers! You’ve made us already feel like old friends! Thank you for welcoming us into such a special time in your lives with open arms, laughs, popcorn and chocolate!
