Hi friends! Welcome to our blog, a place where we share our favorites from weddings days, tips and a glimpse into our everyday life. So glad you're here!
Joaquin and Melissa got married last weekend at the Beckman family beach house! It was such a perfect day-in and out clouds, warm but a slight breeze. Melissa’s family did an AMAZING job putting together the perfect day for the bride and groom! Their ceremony overlooked the beautiful reflecting waters of the lake and the reception overlooked the entire property! Melissa and Joaquin met while chatting and playing World of Warcraft online. Yep, totally cute right? Joaquin then friend requested Melissa on MySpace. Yes, Myspace! From then, the rest is history! Joaquin moved to Washington in the Spring, soon after proposed and then they contacted me about photographing their wedding! I wish you both so many lifetimes of love, happiness and joyful evenings playing video games together 😉 Enjoy my favorite images of their day! Cheers!~Amanda
My favorite things about the day:
1. Melissa did her makeup at a vanity outside with her dress hanging amongst crystal chandeliers for a photo op! The best part? When they got the vanity she mentioned thinking to herself “Amanda will love this for photos!” You were correct my friend 🙂
2. The did their First Look on the dock and while I photographed it from the neck dock, Joaquin’s Mom stood next to me and watched. Her reaction was such a sweet moment!
3. Melissa also did a 1st Look with her flower girls! Melissa’s Mom made their dresses and they beautifully matched Mel’s dress!
4. The flowers so sooo gorgeous and the Florist was one of the sweetest to work with!
5. The food was so good and they had an insanely gorgeous fruit display!
6. As they said their I do’s the reflection on the lake was straight out of a fairy tale!
7. The entire Beckman family came together to make the day especially gorgeous. You all should be proud of yourselves!
8. Melissa’s sister is a freshman at WSU and her Dad rocked a “WSU DAD” shirt pre wedding-Go Cougs!
9. I stepped through the back of a chair trying to get an epic dancing shot! Side note: Yes I’m ok! I have a gigantic bruise and Mel’s mom rescued me, and I will stand on chairs again!
10. Mel gave Joaquin a special album of images from her bridal boudoir session with me! Side note, this is an awesome Groom’s gift ladies!
